There are approximately 800 individually designated Evanston landmark buildings, mostly single family homes.  There are institutional buildings and office/commercial buildings.  Not all designated landmarks are within designated historic districts.  Additional information is available in the City Codein Title 2, Chapter 9, Section 2-9-17.
