How do I submit a building permit application?

Permit applications must be submitted online using one of these two links:
Building Permit Application for permits with plans that must be reviewed - https://arts.formstack.com/forms/building_permit_application.
This form will also send them to the Citizen Portal if they select a permit type that needs to go there. Use the Citizen Portal for simple permits that do not need review - https://permits.cityofevanston.org/
