You do not need a permit in order to hold a garage or yard sale however, garage/yard sales are limited to three (3) in a twelve (12) month period and are only permitted in residential zoning districts.  

Yard Sale Permit Guidelines:

Permitted only on residential property;

Permitted between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. for no more than three (3) consecutive days;

Permitted up to three (3) yard sales for any residential property within a twelve-month period.
