A building permit is required for flat work.  Submit a permit application along with three copies of a Plat of Survey.  Please see the City Code Title 6: Zoning, Chapter 8: Residential Districts, Section: Part B - District Requirements, Item 2: Impervious Surface: 10.D. on the City's website. 

Note: Traffic Engineering requires a permit for areas of the driveway that are being replaced on the public parkway.
